I took private flute lessons for several years. This was because I had a strong interest in improving my musical skills and in becoming the best flute player that I possibly could. I received this certificate for completing one of the Suzuki books. In order to earn it, I had to memorize the entire book of songs. Working for this award taught me discipline and helped motivate me. Since I knew that practice was required if I wanted to improve my musical ability, my private flute lessons helped me develop a good work ethic.
